Atlantic Recovery Center’s mission, through drug treatment programs, is to provide our clients with insight and awareness into the root causes and life chain of events that led to their destructive use of substances. And to provide the critical skills and tools necessary to cultivate a sober identity built on integrity, dignity and self-respect.
Our clinical program utilizes a comprehensive curriculum consisting of group process, evidenced base 12-step facilitation therapy, shame resilience and relapse prevention.
We use a variety of multi-media resources, ancillary therapists specializing in various treatment modalities, psychopharmacology and guest speakers from local 12-step self-help support groups.
State of the Art Facility.
Partial hospitalization program is a treatment program that is conducted at our center Monday through Saturday. The clients attend sessions during the day and at the end of the session return to the residence. Partial hospitalization programs offer many of the same services that a residential program does and in addition the support of fellow peers.
Clients receive all the support, structure and resources they need at our Florida treatment center. They will be assigned a counselor and a caseworker who will work together to develop an individual treatment plan that will best help the client to build a strong foundation for long term sobriety.
In addition to the aforementioned psychotherapeutic interventions, clients will receive a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation to ensure mental stability, as well as a history and physical to ensure medical stability. Clients will receive education into co-occurring mood disorders and medication management.
Therapeutic services are created in line with the treatment team’s philosophy of a multi-modal approach of the necessary medications at the right time, psychotherapy and self-help support groups. The PHP component is a social model designed to train individuals how to live in society free from the chains of addiction.
The program development for the PHP component is consistent with the mission of ARC to provide our clients with the insight and awareness into the root causes and life chains of events that led to their destructive use of substances. And to provide the critical skills and tools necessary to cultivate a sober identity built on integrity, dignity and self-respect. As well as ARC’s vision that every addict we treat feels better upon the completion of treatment, than they did at the time of admission.
